David Slade-gives Twitter update on ECLIPSE

Ahh, I can't wait!! Follow David, the director of Eclipse here =)

Bryce Dallas Howard talks Rachelle Lefevre...

The Twilight Examiner has a great interview with Bryce Dallas Howard who plays Victoria in Eclipse.. check it out below:

Can you talk about your experience in joining the "Twilight" franchise?

I was really struck by what an incredible group of young people are in that franchise. Their friendships are so genuine, and they really ground each other. And there is a lot going on around them. There’s a lot of attention and scrutiny, but I’m truly moved by how solid they’ve remained in their values and belief systems and their caring of one another throughout all of that. You hope for that in a franchise.

Part of the reason to come back together is to tell a story but also to come back together because everyone genuinely enjoys working with one another. And it was a really, really positive experience for that reason — other than set aside the fact that I’ve read the ["Twilight"] books and loved the books from the very beginning and these characters are extraordinary. It’s such an absorbing story that I just felt very lucky, given the unfortunate circumstances surrounding it, that I was just invited in. I hope that "Eclipse" continues this trend of being really reverent of what ["Twilight" book series author] Stephenie [Meyer] created with the books.

What advice would you have for an actor who is doing a role that was previously played by someone else? A lot of people thought you handled yourself well in the controversy over your "Eclipse" casting.

We’ll see. The jury is still out, because Rachelle [Lefevre] really created an incredible character and is exquisite. I fell like the uproar that occurred was really appropriate, because part of the joy of seeing a franchise, it’s almost like a television series. You’ve seen the actors grow with the franchise. And [Lefevre’s] unavailability [to do "Eclipse"] was really, really, really unfortunate. Advice? Gosh. Just to do your best and be ├╝ber-respectful. She won that role for a reason. I hope to honor everything that she created.

Eclipse to be available in IMAX 6/30/10!

Just in case you didn’t think the Twilight Saga movies were huge enough, it’s just been announced that Eclipse, the third installment of the teen vampire blockbuster, will be available in a super-sized version for IMAX theaters.

“Twilight moviegoers will have a whole new way to experience this next installment of the series, with the enhanced image and sound quality of The IMAX Experience putting them IN the movie,” said Richie Fay, Summit Entertainment’s President of Domestic Theatrical Distribution. “The IMAX release puts us on the event film calendar for 2010, and we’re very excited to work with IMAX to bring a new kind of film to the IMAX theatre network.”

And, unlike many films which have gotten an IMAX release Twi-Hards won’t have to wait to see it. The IMAX version will be released on June 30, the same day as the highly anticipated film opens nationwide on regular, puny screens.

“We’re very excited to work with our new partners at Summit Entertainment to transport the very loyal and enthusiastic Twilight fans into the world of the Volturi via The IMAX Experience,” added Greg Foster, Chairman and President of IMAX Filmed Entertainment. “With our growing theatre network, we’re poised to take advantage of the rapidly growing fan-base devoted to this dynamic, cutting edge series.”

I am Single.. RPattz on Italian Vanity Fair

New Moon’s Robert Pattinson, gracing the new cover of Italian Vanity Fair, clears up a few misconceptions about his life and loves in an interview with the magazine.

RPattz, when quizzed about his relationship with Twilight co-star (and rumored love interest) Kristen Stewart, told the magazine:

"I am single... almost everything that came out about my private life is false."

He said much of the reporting on his life is based on speculation, because there is simply nothing else to talk about.

"I think it happens because, really, there is not much to say about what I’m doing,” Pattinson said. “While I am filming, I live practically [like a] recluse in [a] hotel. I come out only to work, and sometimes to go out for dinner. But, if you read the magazines, it seems that I have a frantic high life.”

But don't be alarmed this interview was given back in May-so from what we have seen and heard lately, this could of changed! =)
